We’re excited to bring back the Good Boy Records Pickleball League for Season 2, a community-focused initiative that brings together music industry professionals, artists, and friends for some friendly competition and good energy. What started as a way to connect has quickly grown into a weekly highlight, and we’re building on that momentum this season.
All games will take place at Wolf & Bear Indoor Pickleball, located at: 14911 Calvert St, Van Nuys, CA 91411, USA.
Pricing: $150 per player
Registration includes a free event T-shirt.
Season 2 will run as follows:
-2 weeks of Open Play (Preseason)
-Dates: August 6 and August 13
-Time: 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
-Show up and rotate through different teams each game
-Games are about 15 minutes long
-A great way to meet people and get comfortable before the season starts
-The League Director will be assessing skill levels during these weeks to create balanced brackets
-4 weeks of Regular Season
-Dates: August 20, August 27, September 3, and September 10
-Time: 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
-Weekly matches between skill-based teams
-1 week of Playoffs
-Finals: September 17
-Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
-Afterparty: 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM
-Championship games and closing celebration
-Each team will have up to 4 players
-Gives everyone flexibility—if someone’s tied up with work, travel, or production schedules, the rest of the team can still play
-No need to reschedule
-If you miss the Open Play weeks, that’s totally fine
-You’ll still be placed on a team

Each match is made up of 4 short games using different team pairings from each roster of 4 players (A, B, C, and D):
-Game 1: A and B
-Game 2: C and D
-Game 3: B and C
-Game 4: A and D
-The match is best of 4
-If it’s tied 2–2, it goes to a Dreambreaker
-Dream breaker format:
-A 1-on-1 game
-Each team rotates a new player every 3 points
This format keeps games moving while making sure everyone gets time on the court.
